CROW TRADING trades futures and options on agricultural raw materials and products, particularly: grains, oil seeds, oil seed products, livestock, fiber, and food products. Trading generally relies on fundamental analysis to identify effective trading strategies. The CTA believes the fundamental factors determine the eventual movement of the market and become the major decision factor. Technical factors may lead to extended moves and therefore must also be monitored, but decisions are discretionary fundamental. The trading strategy attempts to detect disequilibrium price movements for the commodity interests being monitored. This strategy normally seeks to establish positions and maintain such positions while the particular market moves in favor of the position and seeks to exit the particular market and/or establish reverse positions when the favorable trend either reverses or does not materialize.
