Fund Investment Objectives

The Fund invests in Chinese companies whose shares are listed on the stock exchanges in Hong Kong, mainland China or Taiwan. The investment style is long-term and based on fundamental equity research. The emphasis is on companies with good prospects for long-term high growth in earnings per share combined with attractive valuations. The Fund's major investment theme is to capitalize on the rapid economic growth in China, together with the prospects of appreciation of the Chinese Yuan against major world currencies. China has the largest foreign exchange reserves in the world, as well as lower overall debt levels and a higher savings rate than most developed markets, providing a favorable macroeconomic environment for investment.
