The fund is a long-bias UCITS III Pan European real estate securities fund. The fund will target a total return greater than that produced by the FSTE/EPRA/NAREIT Developed Europe Capped Index (Net, GBP).
The Thames River Real Estate Securities Fund will aim to achieve its objective by investing in the securities, and indices of securities which meet the Financial Regulator's requirements, of listed property companies and other listed companies related to the real estate sector (such as construction companies, property service providers and real estate fund managers), mainly in developed Europe. The Fund may also invest in convertible securities and rated and unrated debt securities of real estate companies and companies related to the real estate sector (for example, construction companies, property service providers and real estate fund managers as noted above).
The Fund may engage in transactions in financial derivative instruments for investment purposes to gain exposure to real estate securities and indices of real estate securities. Such financial derivative instruments include, but are not limited to futures, forwards, options, swaps and contracts for difference. Derivatives may be traded by the Fund either on exchange or over-the-counter.
AUM reflects the aggregate of the various share classes and is denominated in GBP.
