Fund Investment Objectives

The Fund aims to achieve strong risk-adjusted returns by investing in Swiss equities. To a smaller extent investments in other countries than Switzerland are possible. Currency risk will be kept to a minimum. The selection process follows a value-style approach based on company visits and desk research. More specifically, the Fund invests at least 2/3 in equity securities and other participation rights (stocks, dividend right certificates, shares in cooperatives, participation certificates etc) of small and medium-sized listed or nonlisted companies. Investments in listed companies should not fall below 50% of Fund assets. The Fund may invest in Swiss as well as in foreign companies, but at least 50% of the Fund's assets are invested in the domestic market. The Fund may invest up to 1/3 of its assets in convertible bonds, bonds cum warrants, straight bonds, money market securities and other debt instruments.
